Phytoplankton in the modern reef aquarium is increasingly important both as food for the corals and as a body capable of removing certain compounds from the waste at the same time fostering the base of the food chain of many organisms associated with the bottom and the rocks. Phytoplankton takes on greater importance if we need to rear larvae of marine tropical fish and all the bodies that we can give them as live food.

To facilitate the production of phytoplankton ReefSnow is pleased to offer its customers a simple compound which can enrich the synthetic sea water of all the nutrients essential for the massive development of unicellular algae, regardless of components and concentrations wrong duvute inappropriate use of fertilizers designed for other plants.

The two different compositions are designed ad hoc to raise just one kind or another without the possibility of contamination and are used by major fish hatcheries for food across Europe. The formula allows ARD2 growth of non-motility, while the formula for those with ENW scourge, covering the broad scope and needs of all. Simply adding a few grams of sodium metasilicate (silicon - Si) can raise the fantastic diatoms in order to offer to small invertebrates and food to live more and more different foods.
